Ms. Janice Sands Ash, P.E. - President
Janice Sands Ash, P.E., is the founder, owner and president of The Ash Group, Inc. Ms. Ash has over
31 years experience in civil, utility and environmental engineering of which 18 years were directly with transportation related projects. Ms. Ash has focused the strength of Ash Engineering into Utility Engineering. She has established a stable clientele of water, sewer, power, CATV and telephone. She is the recipient of the FDOT District 7 1996 Utility Liaison of the Year Award, the 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year for the Society of Women Engineers, one of the top
"Tampa Bay Business Journals Distinguished Women in Business 2003", and is a finalist for 2004 for
"Tampa Bay Business Journal's Small Business of the Year". Ms. Ash has a Bachelors of Engineering Science (Environmental Engineering) and a
Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida. Ms. Ash has served as an adjunct professor teaching water and wastewater systems design at the University of South Florida.
